This actress once hilariously shut down a troll who said they would ‘cry’ if their parents looked like hers and left no room for a comeback.

Zendaya, 26, has been in the spotlight since her childhood, starring on the Disney Channel before going on to make her film debut in 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming alongside beau, Tom Holland.
Since then, she’s gone on to be a global superstar, with an impressive portfolio under her belt, such as having been featured in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list in 2016, and Time magazine’s round-up of the 100 Most Influential People in the World in 2022.
But while she’s no stranger to fame and the following backlash from trolls online, there’s one line she won’t allow anyone to cross - and that’s s**t-talking about her family.
A little word to the wise; don’t trash talk Zendaya’s parents if you want to keep your dignity.

Back in 2015, she went viral for an amazingly witty response to a troll’s comment on Twitter, which targeted her parents Claire Stoermer and Kazembe Ajamu Coleman’s looks.
It started when someone tweeted a photo of the Euphoria star with her parents, writing: “They made a gorgeous ass child lol.”
Someone else then commented back which kick started this whole thing: “Her parents really ugly I really would cry.”
But instead of ignoring the comments or blocking the accounts, Zendaya took this as an opportunity to teach kindness.

Posting a photo of a smiling selfie with her mom and dad, she explained shared to the world the reasons as to why the two people who raised her were the ‘most selfless people in the world’, having dedicated their lives to educating others.
She wrote: “First, I’m gonna pray for you.
"While you’re so concerned about what my parents look like, please know that these are two of the most selfless people in the world.
"They have chosen to spend their entire life, not worried about trivial things such as looks and insulting people’s parents on Twitter, but instead became educators who have dedicate their lives to teaching, cultivating and filling young shallow minds. (One of the most important yet underpaid jobs we have).”

Zendaya added: "So please, log out, go to school, hug a teacher and read a textbook…and while you’re at it, go look in the mirror and know that you too are beautiful, because such hateful things only stem from internal struggles. Bless you."
She then made a point to sign off from ‘me and my BEAUTIFUL family’.
What a beautiful response!
Of course, the original tweet was deleted shortly afterwards, so there’s that too.
